Terms of service

1. The service

Typink is a workspace for creating text documents, sketches, and shared boards. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

We may update or discontinue features of the service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of changes that materially affect your use.

2. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at support@typink.app.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or that pose a security risk.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or share through the service. By using the service, you grant Typink a limited license to store, display, and process your content solely to provide the service to you.

You are responsible for your content. Do not upload or share content that is illegal, infringes on the rights of others, or violates these terms.

We may automatically remove boards that remain inactive for 90 consecutive days. When possible, we will send a warning email shortly before such removal.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Upload or distribute malware or harmful code.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' accounts.
  • Infringe intellectual property rights of any third party.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users.

5. Subscription and billing

Typink offers a free plan and a paid Premium plan. Premium is purchased as a one-time payment for a chosen access period (monthly or yearly). There is no automatic renewal — your access simply ends at the end of the paid period unless you choose to purchase again.

Prices are shown at checkout including applicable VAT. Payments are processed by Stripe. We issue invoices through our billing settings.

Operational and account emails related to the service may be queued and delivered shortly after the triggering event, including board-sharing messages and inactivity warnings.

We may change pricing at any time. Any price changes will be communicated in advance and will not affect access you have already purchased.

6. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of the transaction date without giving a reason, in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU and the Polish Consumer Rights Act (Ustawa o prawach konsumenta).

However, if you request that Premium access begin immediately upon purchase, you expressly acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully delivered, in accordance with Article 38(13) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act.

If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal before the service has been delivered, contact us at support@typink.app. We will process your refund within 14 days.

7. Warranties and disclaimers

We aim to keep the service reliable and available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, or loss of revenue resulting from your use of the service. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law, including under mandatory EU consumer protection provisions.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Polish law. For consumers in the EU, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence also apply and are not overridden by this clause.

If you have a complaint, contact us first at support@typink.app. We will do our best to resolve it directly.

As an EU consumer, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, or contact the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK, uokik.gov.pl).

10. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes to these terms, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may close your account before they take effect.
